River Wild’s preschool programming focuses on place-based, experiential learning outdoors.  Everything we can learn in the classroom, we can learn outdoors as well.  Once the school agers head off to school for the day, the preschoolers will gather for a quick community meeting to plan our adventures for the day.  Families will be alerted to our travels.

The majority of the preschool day will be spent outdoors exploring and discovering.  We will often eat and rest off-site.  A portable toilet, privacy tent and hand washing basin will join us on our adventures. It is important that children have adequate gear to be safe and comfortable outdoors in all types of weather. River Wild will share the gear required prior to each season.  Buying second-hand is great and whoever discounts for quality gear are available, Jessica will be sure to spread the word.

River Wild prepares children for a lifetime of joyful learning.  We build curiosity, wonder and a love for learning while building a solid foundation in all skills needed for kindergarten and beyond. River Wild supports the whole child and meets each child exactly where they are at.
